Underarm Botox is not a treatment that addresses the root cause of underarm odor. While apocrine glands are involved in underarm odor, underarm Botox primarily works to suppress the activity of eccrine sweat glands. However, reducing underarm sweating may help alleviate odor caused by sweat.

At YAYOI CLINIC, we generally recommend 100 units for both underarms, or 50 units per side. Since the areas prone to sweating and the severity of sweating vary from person to person, our doctors will assess your condition and adjust the injection areas and dosage accordingly. Since underarm Botox involves multiple injections in the sensitive underarm area, you may experience some pain. At YAYOI CLINIC, we use our proprietary “pain-free Botox” formula, designed with your comfort in mind, along with ultra-fine 34G 2mm needles and a vibrating pen that helps disperse the sensation of the injection.

At YAYOI CLINIC, we assess the condition of your underarms and your concerns regarding sweating, and adjust the injection area and volume based on the distribution of your sweat glands and the areas most prone to sweating. Rather than administering injections uniformly, we place great importance on administering them precisely to the necessary areas.

According to YAYOI CLINIC, patients generally begin to notice changes from underarm Botox treatments about 2 to 3 days after the procedure, with the effects peaking around 14 days later. YAYOI CLINIC recommends that patients return for a follow-up visit around 14 days after the procedure, when the effects are at their peak. The timing of these changes varies from person to person.

YAYOI CLINIC advises that the effects of underarm Botox generally last about 4 to 6 months. Since the duration varies from person to person, we will monitor your progress and determine the timing of your next treatment accordingly.

On the day of the procedure, you should avoid using antiperspirant to prevent irritation at the injection site.
