Peels are a simple skincare treatment that can be done not only at cosmetic dermatology clinics and beauty salons but also at home. Recently, “Lala Peel,” which originated in South Korea, has been gaining a lot of attention. In this article, we’ll explain the different types of peels, their characteristics, and the benefits you can expect.

What Is Peeling?

ピーリングとは?

Peeling is a process that uses the power of chemicals toA medication that softens the stratum corneum on the skin's surface and promotes skin renewalIt effectively removes dead skin cells and impurities accumulated on the skin’s surface. Doing so can help prevent skin problems. Another key benefit of peeling is that, depending on the solution used, it can promote collagen production and provide age-appropriate skin care.

YAYOI CLINIC has introduced four types of peels: Massage Peel, Mint Peel, Milanoli Peel, and Lara Peel. We’ll explain each in detail below.

YAYOI CLINIC's "Massage Peel"

マッサージピール

Massage peels are,Peeling agents designed to minimize epidermal exfoliationThis treatment involves massaging a solution—which is less likely to cause skin peeling—into the skin until it penetrates the dermis. It stimulates the production of collagen and other substances, giving the skin firmness and elasticity. It’s also characterized by minimal redness and peeling, with virtually no downtime. Furthermore, thanks to the effects of kojic acid, repeated treatments can help brighten the complexion over time. The Massage Peel is ideal for those who want to improve their skin’s elasticity and firmness, refine their skin texture, or address concerns about dark spots and dullness.

YAYOI CLINIC's "Mint Peel"

ミントピール

Mint peel is,A peeling product that provides a menthol-like sensation and is formulated to minimize the stinging sensation typically associated with peeling treatments. This innovative formula leaves your skin feeling refreshingly cool after treatment. In addition to four types of exfoliating ingredients, it contains peptides that are expected to be highly effective against wrinkles. Not only does it help refine the skin and address fine lines and acne, but it can also be used on a wide range of areas, including the neck and décolletage. With its mild exfoliating action, Mint Peel is less likely to cause peeling and is gentle enough for even those with sensitive skin. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to “take care of their body, such as the neck and hands,” “address concerns about skin texture and pores,” or “avoid the burning sensation often associated with peels.”

YAYOI CLINIC's "Milano Peel"

ミラノリピール

Milan Repeal is,A peeling agent that contains five types of acids as well as moisturizing ingredients. It can help reduce concerns such as dark spots, dullness, and acne. The main active ingredients in the Milano Peel include trichloroacetic acid (TCA), lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, and citric acid. Although it contains a high concentration of trichloroacetic acid and may cause peeling, the treatment is specifically designed to minimize discomfort during the procedure. It is well-suited for those concerned about acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, rough texture, or dullness.

YAYOI CLINIC's "Lala Peel"

ララピール

Lalapearl is,A peeling product originating in Korea that can be used even on sensitive skin without causing peeling. It contains LHA (lipohydroxy acid), P-sol™, and lipids. LHA exfoliates dead skin cells while minimizing irritation to refine skin texture; P-sol™ promotes collagen production to enhance firmness; and lipids strengthen the skin’s barrier function. Because it gently removes only dead skin cells while maintaining the thickness of the epidermis, this peel is gentle enough even for those with sensitive skin. It is ideal for people who have given up on peels due to sensitive skin, or who are concerned about dryness, dullness, uneven texture, or a lack of firmness.
